Take a look behind the scenes of Ni No Kuni II

For those of you who are waiting with bated breath for Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, the team over at Bandai Namco have dropped a great little documentary that goes behind-the-scenes into creating the characters of the game.

I have been super excited for more Ni No Kuni news, and this video has only heightened the excitement! Check out the video embedded below about the much anticipated sequel and make sure you put on captions as it’s all in Japanese.

The documentary goes in-depth with character designers Akihiro Hino, Yoshiyuki Momose, and Takafumi Koukami, and shows off some gorgeous never-before-seen footage from the game. The character animation and design is simply stunning, and hearing the care and love that went into it just makes it that much more endearing.

I previewed Ni No Kuni II at EB Expo late last year, and you can check out my thoughts here. The hands-on experience tempered my expectations, but as a super-fan I cannot help but be excited every time more news comes out.

Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is set to release on March 23, 2018 on PS4 and PC.
