It’s been known for some time that Dragon Ball FighterZ was planning to release new DLC fighters to their battle roster. Who those fighters were and when they were coming was shrouded in mystery. Well wonder no longer, as Bandai Namco have revealed the first two additional fighters in the upcoming issue of V-Jump! First off, meet the legendary Super Saiyan Broly, who’s savage nature and sheer power are a real danger for the Z Fighters. Next we get the unsung hero who took a stand against Freiza, despite never standing a chance, and passed on the torch to his son Goku, Bardok.
Broly’s Meteor Attack is called “Gigantic Meteor,” an energy ball attack that uses up three Ki Gauge. As for Bardock, his Meteor Attack is called “Revenger Assault” where he transforms into a Super Saiyan, which I’m so excited to see, and delivers a punishing rush attack on the opponent. While there has been no official release date or costing for the first two DLC fighters, players do have the option to purchase the season pass to guarantee both characters as soon as they arrive.
Lastly, for those who own and play Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, a special Android 21 costume and selection of accessories will be available in game if you also own Dragon Ball FighterZ. Conversely, players from Dragon Ball FighterZ will receive a Supreme Kai of Time lobby avatar and stamp, so don’t miss out on these exclusive collectibles when they’re available. Dragon Ball FighterZ is currently available to play on the PlayStaion 4, Xbox One, and PC. You can check out my review of Dragon Ball FighterZ before blasting your way to victory.
