Originally shown at E3 last year, Iron Galaxy and Modus Games have announced that their next game, Extinction, will be making its way to stores on April 10th.
Players will be taking control of Avil, as he fights to save humanity from an army of gigantic ogres.The game features a very intuitive, fighting-game-style, control scheme (as developers Iron Galaxy also developed Killer Instinct). You’ll battle smaller foes on the ground but have larger scale fights that require you to chop off ogre limbs to take them down one by one to dramatic effect.
Pre-order details have been announced for the game, as well as season pass details. Players pre-ordering from either the PlayStation store or Microsoft Store will receive an exclusive bonus trial:
- PlayStation®Store – “Double Trouble” trial: Save humanity before it’s too late in this bonus trial that will test every aspect of your strength, speed, and skill.
- Microsoft Store – “Brightsteel City”trial: This bonus trial will challenge even the most skillful Sentinel.
Players can purchase the ‘Days of Dolorum’ season pass for around $20 once the game has been released.
Extinction will be available on PlayStation 4 , Xbox One and PC on April 10, 2018. Check out the gameplay trailer below.
