Known for their award-winning indie titles 80 Days and Steve Jackson’s Sorcery!, developers inkle have announced their latest game, Heaven’s Vault.
Players will join archaeologist Aliya Elasra and her robot sidekick Six as they discover lost sites, freely explore ancient ruins, and translate inscriptions to discover the Nebula’s forgotten secrets.
This open world is yours to investigate, and boasts a unique feature with the hieroglyphic language you slowly unfold, the translations you choose feed back into story and change the way Aliya perceives the world and how she is in turn perceived by others.
The developers have said a release date will be announced soon, and limited demos will be available at specific conventions—unfortunately none in Australia as of yet.
Heaven’s Vault will be releasing on PS4 and Steam for your PC and Mac with iOs expected in the future. Check out the official website for more information and the reveal trailer below.
