There’s no announced end dates, but most Overwatch events run for about 3 weeks, so get ready to get festive! Shockingly, no skins have been leaked, but we can expect to see the return of these 2017 skins:
It can be expected you’ll be able to buy these with in-game currency at a cheaper price than last year, as well as get them in the event loot boxes. With some key characters and new characters missing from last year’s event (Hanzo, McCree Genji, Moira, Doomfist, Orisa, etc), we can take guesses at who will be getting new skins. This event arrives shortly after 100 new cosmetic items have been added, so there’s a lot to catch up on.
Blizzard has been pretty tight-lipped on this year’s event, but fans are predicting a new map event since the capture the flag of last year is part of the custom game menu. Unrelated to the event though, Blizzard has also mentioned that the PvE Uprising mode will return. There’s no specified date, but it is looking to be in the near future.
