Crisis on the Planet of the Apes announced for VR in April

FoxNext VR Studio are stepping out into the world of gaming and they aren’t monkeying around. Doing it in style, they’ve decided to jump head first into the realm of VR with the launch of Crisis on the Planet of the Apes VR, which is coming soon to PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift, and HTC Vive. 

Set between Rise of the Planet of the Apes and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, the player, an ape known only as Specimen 139, finds themselves captured by the military and en route to a remote scientific facility in Northern California. It has been five years since the outbreak of the Simian Flu which wiped out half of humanity and furthered the evolution of more primitive primates. You’ll need to climb, jump and shoot through the chaos of a violent new world to escape with your fellow apes and return home to Caesar.

Crisis on the Planet of the Apes will place you right into Specimen 139’s perspective and have you fighting for your life alongside your primate companions as you are thrown head first into this storyline driven VR experience.
