Leaving the darkest recesses of Steam Early Acess, ‘Rise of Insanity’ takes you on a rollercoaster of psychological torment as you assume the role of Dr Stephen Dowell as he attempts to uncover the truth behind the tragic events surrounding his family’s demise.
Krzysztof Sopata of Red Limb Studio, the creators behind this journey through the horrors of the human mind has said “For Rise of Insanity we drew inspiration from classic psychological horror masterpieces such as The Shining, The Exorcist and Silent Hill”
The game features realistic yet disturbing environments inspired by North American building trends from the early 70’s, an unnerving and atmospheric soundtrack, and an immersive first-person psychological horror experience can be enjoyed in either Fullscreen mode or in VR on Oculus Rift, Htc Vive and Gear VR
The game has gained positive reviews since its Early Access version and the final version is set to include more locations and a full ending that completes the story of Dr Dowell. ‘Rise of Insanity’ has been marked to leave Early Access and become available on Steam for Windows PC and Linux from this morning for around the $15 mark (AUD)
