In a surprise announcement from Konami, the formally Nintendo Switch exclusive Super Bomberman R, will be released globally onto Play Station 4, Xbox One, and PC from June 14th, 2018. Not only that but each platform’s release has its own unique version of the game. The uniqueness comes in the form of exclusive characters that each come from a popular game for the platform – Ratchet and Clank (PS4), Halo (Xbox One), and Portal (PC).
On top this cool add-on, anyone who pre-orders the digital copy or purchases the Shiny Edition of Super Bomberman R will receive the 8 Shiny Bomberman Brothers set, as well as Golden Vic Viper Bomber to play with. So much shiny, my eyes are watering from looking directly at them all! On top of this it looks as though the game will be getting a more realistic price tag upon release, which was one of the game’s biggest criticisms upon release for the Nintendo Switch.
With all these shiny new editions to the already ‘super’ fun packed game, it looks as though a revival of Super Bomberman R is on the horizon. Thankfully PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC owners won’t have long to wait until it arrive this June 14.
