The first Xbox Game Pass Challenge is here, and it doubles as your chance to say you beat the fastest man in the world! Xbox Game Pass, a membership service that allows unlimited access to over 100 Xbox One and Xbox 360 games, has announced it’s first ‘Challenge’ participant as Usain Bolt.
The event itself will occur live on Thursday, April 26 at 3:00 p.m. PT (a.k.a Friday, April 27 at 8:00 a.m. AEST for us in Australia). Usain Bolt will take on several games, ranging from NBA Playgrounds to Dead Rising 3. But the main event will be Pro Evolution Soccer 18, which stars Usain himself. He’ll have ten minutes to attempt a specific challenge for each game, and once he’s done, you can attempt to beat him…as long as you’re a Game Pass member of course.
You’ll be able to watch the slightly meta-event of Usain playing himself on either Mixer, Twitch, or Facebook Xbox Channels. If you’re not already a Game Pass member, you can sign up and get a 14-day trial, and then it’s $10.95 AUD per month. This may be the only time you have a passing chance of beating the fastest man in the world at something, so I’d say it’s worth it just for the bragging rights.
