Cyberpunk 2077 steals the show at E3 2018

Closing the show for Microsoft’s E3 2018 press conference was the game we have all be waiting for – Cyberpunk 2077. The game, developed by The Witcher devs, tells a futuristic tale set in a dystopian California. The world has reached the technological singularity with mega corporations seizing control after the collapse of government bodies.

Whilst the trailer doesn’t provide any gameplay or a release date, what it does give is a deeper look into the world that is being created. An impoverished and violent city full of cybernetic augmentations, gangs, and plenty of death. Cyberpunk 2077 is set to be a big open-world experience. Fans of The Witcher 3 will know just how amazing of a world the developers are able to create with immense amounts of lore and interesting stories woven into the world around you.

Those looking to find out more about the game can head to the official website although unfortunately their isn’t too much more to uncover. What we have seen so far is amazing but what we really need is some gameplay to fill in the blanks and some serious new reveals about the game to whet our appetite. Without any release date announced this game may still be a while until it sees the light of day. Until then I am happy to wait eagerly for any new information.
