Devil May Cry 5 goes from expected to reality at E3 2018

Devil May Cry 5 has officially been announced with a teaser trailer to go with it.

Given it was heavily rumoured to be making an appearance at E3 this year, thus not a surprise as such however it still got a big reaction from the crowd. Director Hideaki Itsuno was on hand at the event, declaring Devil May Cry 5 the best game he has ever made.

The first glimpses of DMC 5 were of a town apparently overrun with aliens/monsters however when a van carrying our protagonist and his partner barrels down the street, things took a more action packed direction, complete with one liners and what MAY have been Dante on a motorbike near the end.

As the name would imply, this is the true sequel to DMC 4 and the first DMC game since an attempted reboot in 2013 and Nero appears to return from that game. Devil May Cry 5 is due 2019, in the meantime check out the trailer below and our review the HD collection released earlier this year here.
