Announced at Square Enix’s press conference this morning was a cross-over event happening between Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and Monster Hunter: World. The trailer showed a party of FF14 characters going up against a Monster from Monster Hunter: World. Worlds collide indeed.
We unfortunately don’t know too much more about the cross-over event. It seems like at least one monster, potions and Palicos will be heading to FF14, but we assume there will be more to it than that. The real question is whether or not Monster Hunter: World will also get some FF14 themed updates. For now everything is pure speculation, although to see two big franchises collide is always exciting.
The cross-over event is coming this Winter (Summer for our Northern Hemisphere friends).
