July 2018 Games with Gold announced

The July 2018 Games with Gold lineup has been revealed, with a fresh batch of freebies for subscribers on the Xbox One.

First up, Assault Android Cactus has you blasting a range of enemies to protect your spaceship in a thrilling twin-stick shooter and beautiful visuals. Then, grab a friend and get ready for some co-op puzzle action with Death Squared, a game that we said is “cute and challenging but doesn’t become too overwhelming with its difficulty. Whilst not without its flaws, Death Squared is most certainly a game worth experiencing.”

As always, there are some Xbox 360 titles available that are on backwards compatibility. Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown brings back the classic fighting action you love in this definitive version of the series, while Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction will surely continue to prompt rumours that Ubisoft wants to revisit the stealth action franchise, despite no big announcements at E3 like we were hoping.
