With a cheeky release TODAY, Good Shepherd Entertainment and indie outfit Italo Games have released Milanoir, a “bloody action game tribute to the masterpiece Italian crime movies of the 1970”. Alongside this drop is a rad launch trailer, which remakes the game’s opening in the style of said Italian crime movies. Check it out below!
Milanoir channels the slick style of movies like ‘Caliber 9’ and ‘Almost Human’ in a story of greed, betrayal, & revenge. To a backdrop of a funk-a-licious 70s soundtrack and groovy pixel art graphics, you can sneak, choke, and shoot through Milan’s criminal underbelly to hunt for those who framed you.
“Milanoir’s entire action-packed campaign can be experienced solo or with a partner in crime in two-player local co-op “, says the developers. “There’s also a fast-paced arena mode that will put your death-defying talents to the test.”
As an added bonus for Switch users, you can play the full campaign in co-op on one system with each player using a single JoyCon.
Milanoir is out now on Playstation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and Steam for $15.50AU. Steam users can get the exclusive “Milanoir Special Edition”, which includes the full game PLUS a downloadable copy of its soundtrack, for$17.79AU.
