Popular party game and surprise smash hit Overcooked is getting a sequel, as Overcooked 2 was announced as part of Nintendo’s E3 conference today.
A real favourite among the Checkpoint team, the sequel looks to expand on the crazy action of the original, featuring levels with portals that let you travel from one side to the other, the ability to throw ingredients and levels that transform when specific events trigger in the match.
As per the YouTube description: “Overcooked 2 is serving up more chefs, more kitchens, more recipes, more co-op madness and even more Kevin with the second helping of concentrated co-op chaos! Buddy up or go it alone as you cook up a storm, chopping, steaming and frying your way through dynamic and outright crazy levels. Now with online multiplayer for up to four chefs, there is no such thing as too many cooks and the steaks have never been higher as you prepare to save the Onion Kingdom.”
Overcooked 2 will be available on August 7th for the Nintendo Switch.
