Remedy known for Alan Wake and more recently, Quantum Break, have taken to the stage with Sony to reveal their latest game, Control. Previously Remedy titles haven’t been available on PlayStation but the team recently announced that they would be opening up to more platforms.
Control looks to see you play as Jesse Faden as she traverses a dream like environment that is always shifting armed with a gun showing the same shifting nature. The combat shown is very reminiscent of Quantum Break as you alter reality with the wave of a hand and fling the environment at your enemy or taking cover while firing off a dew rounds from your pistol.
You are Jesse Faden, a young woman with a troubled past. You become the new Director of the Bureau of Control – Our frontline in researching and fighting against supernatural enemies like the Hiss threatening our very existence.
For now we don’t have a release date but Control looks amazing and borrows from both Quantum Break and Alan Wake in design, but with this on the books you can guarantee both of those franchises are on hold for now. Be sure to check out the official Control website for more info.
