Star Fox joins Starlink: Battle for Atlas, out October 2018

Ubisoft have revealed a huge amount of information regarding Starlink: Battle for Atlas. In a pair of trailers shown at their E3 2018 press conference, Ubisoft set the scene for the action, and unveiled a special guest as a Nintendo Switch exclusive: Fox McLeod and the Arwings. Check out the reveal below!

During the reveal, the Atlas system was shown to be full of alien creatures, lush landscapes, and different factions with which the player can form an alliance. Starlink features seven different planets to explore, as well as an open, living star system to shoot through. Check out the gameplay trailer below:

Starlink: Battle for Atlas features a toys-to-life ship building mechanic in which a model starship attaches to the players controller. You can check out how it works here. During the press conference, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot presented Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto with a model of Fox McLeod’s Arwing ship, which is usable with the Nintendo Switch version of the game.

Starlink: Battle for Atlast is due out October 16, 2018 for Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. The Star Fox content is exclusive to the Switch version.
