This may just be the cutest game I’ve ever seen at E3. Tunic is an adventure game that channels the old-school Zelda titles into one cute-as-can-be title that I cannot wait to try for myself. The new trailer shown at Microsoft’s E3 press conference depicts our tunic-wearing hero traversing a gorgeous isometric world fighting critters, solving puzzles, and collecting treasures. It really gives me a Link to the Past vibe and I can definitely get around that! Check it out below!
“Tunic is an isometric action adventure about a tiny fox in a big world,” says publisher Finji, “Embark on an adventuresome questabout (sic) set in that place just beyond the farthest you’ve ever been! Explore ancient ruins, fight monsters, and uncover mysterious secrets.”
Originally revealed as Secret Legend back in 2015, the now-called Tunic is being developed by a one-man team, Andrew Shouldice, based out of Canada. It will be a console exclusive to Xbox One, but will also come to PC.
There is no official release date yet, but hopefully it isn’t too long until we get to join this adorable little fox on his adventures.
