It’s no secret here at Checkpoint that one particular team member has a bit of a passion for a certain hospital themed simulator, so when Two Point Hospital was announced back in January this year that team member immediately started checking for symptoms of bloaty head syndrome! I am of course talking about myself and I couldn’t have been more excited to see this brilliant game featured at this years E3 PC Gaming Show.
Two Point Hospital, the new hospital management game from Sega, is the debut project of Two Point Studios which is made up of ex-Lionhead and Bullfrog veterans Mark Webley and Gary Carr. Whilst a lot of people have been wanting a sequel to the extremely popular and cult classic Theme Hospital for many years now it has been pointed out by Two Point co-founder Mark Webley that Two Point Hospital will be a brand new game in its own right.
With this knowledge I was even more excited by what I saw at the PC Gaming Showcase, giving the crowd a brief glimpse of some gameplay footage, we were treated to sneak peak of how to run a hospital, how to treat the sick and how you and the staff of Two Point Hospital will handle the many hilarious ailments that befall them. Two Point Hospital doesn’t yet have an official release date but is expected to be released in the latter part of 2018.
