Xenoblade Chronicles 2 goes back to where it all began

You’ll be able to experience where it all started with a major DLC prologue for Xenoblade Chronicles 2, titled Torna – The Golden Country.

Part of the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Expansion Pass, players will uncover the full history of Jin and the fall of his homeland, Torna, which existed 500 years before the events of Xenoblade Chronicles 2. This will give a lot of backstory in the already incredibly detailed Xenoblade universe, and will also be available as a stand-alone packaged version when it launches.

We loved the game when it released December last year. We said: “Xenoblade Chronicles 2 does some amazing things with its impressive world, varied quests and incredibly detailed upgrade system, but it is marred by some odd decisions that would benefit from some more explanation or refinement. The amount of depth could be daunting across the board for newcomers, but persistence definitely pays. Even with its flaws, if you’re willing to learn and pay attention, this stands out as one of the most enjoyable and interesting RPG’s of the year.”

Torna – The Golden Country will be available on September 21st, or September 14th for Expansion Pass owners.
