Hot off the presses at the Tokyo Game Show is the first first full trailer for DEEMO -Reborn- from the teams at Sony Music Entertainment Japan / UNTIES and Rayark Inc. The trailer featured at the “PlayStation LineUp Tours” event held by Sony Interactive Entertainment ahead of Tokyo Game Show next week and has since been uploaded to the Rayark Inc YouTube.
DEEMO -Reborn- is not just a remake of the original however as this new version adds even more gameplay elements including new voice acting, more cinematic cut-scenes and support for the ever growing in popularity PlayStation VR.
Lost in a magical castle, players will unravel the mystery of the fanciful world of DEEMO. Through beautifully designed puzzles that require solving and DEEMO’s signature musical gameplay, you’re invited to delve deeper into this mystical world of detailed scenery and exploration elements.
DEEMO -Reborn- will also have its main title theme and other in game songs produced by virtual music group “EGOIST” who are a renowned Japanese music group. “EGOIST” is a pop music duo consisting of supercell’s Ryo and vocalist Chelly and was originally formed for the anime Guilty Crown. The group continued creating other songs after the end of the series including themes for other popular anime series including Psycho-Pass and Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress.
DEEMO -Reborn- is in development for PlayStation 4, and has a tentative Spring 2019 release date in Japan with no word yet on a western release date.
