Borderlands 3 dated, special editions, new info

It’s been the week of Borderlands 3 news, but now we have even firmer information on when the game will release, along with details on the special editions that will be available, characters and more.

Borderlands 3 will officially release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on the Epic Games Store on September 13, 2019.  An official announcement trailer was also revealed overnight, showing off the new cast of characters and giving us more of a glimpse into what we can expect from the long anticipated sequel.

Four Vault Hunters are featured in the trailer, and we have details of what they’re all about right here.

• Moze as THE GUNNER: When Moze needs backup, she digistructs her mech – Iron Bear – for a sucker punch of additional firepower.
• Amara as THE SIREN: A confident, capable brawler with the ability to summon ethereal fists, Amara uses her Siren powers to smash her enemies.
• FL4K as THE BEASTMASTER: FL4K lives for the hunt. So do the loyal beasts that follow their master’s every command. Their preferred prey? Unsuspecting bandits, those poor suckers.
• Zane as THE OPERATIVE: Specializing in battlefield gadgetry, Zane is extremely proficient at slipping into combat, creating chaos, and sneaking back out as if he were never there.

These characters will have access to literally billions of guns as they try to take down the fanatical Calypso Twins. We’d expect nothing less from the over-the-top looter shooter franchise. A level-sync system has also been detailed, noting that the experience will scale for each individual player. This means that you can play with anyone at anytime online or in split-screen go-op, regardless of your level or mission progress.

Borderlands 3 Deluxe Edition

The Borderlands 3 Deluxe Edition includes the base game, as well as bonus digital content:

• Neon Cosmetic Pack: Vault Hunter head & skin, Echo Device skin, weapon trinket;
