Death Stranding set to launch in November

Posted on May 30, 2019

The game that has confused audiences since it was first revealed back at E3 2016 has finally got a solid release date. A new trailer has been released for Death Stranding and it is by far the most informative trailer we have seen yet. It also gives us a solid release date for November 8, 2019!

The game is being created by Hideo Kojima of Metal Gear Solid fame. A unique mind undeniably. The game also features a huge cast of motion captured performances from the likes of Troy Baker, Guillermo Del Toro, Lea Seydoux, Margaret Qualley,  Mads Mikkelsen, protagonist Norman Reedus and more.  Check out the new trailer below to see the most in depth look we’ve ever had at this peculiar new project.

Death Stranding will be a third-person action / adventure title. The game takes place in an isolated world where walls have been built to separate one region from another. Your role within the game will be to forge “strands” by reconnecting these isolated regions and bridge the division. There’s also some pretty serious horror elements going on with demons wandering around the environment and rain that heavily speeds up the ageing process, essentially decaying anything it touches. There’s also some elements of war thrown into the mix and who could forget the fetus you’re carrying around the world?

Undeniably, Death Stranding will be a game to keep your eyes on. Because even if the game doesn’t turn out to be good in the traditional sense, it will at the very least be interesting.

Death Stranding is set to release November 8, 2019 for PlayStation 4. Are you ready for what is coming?
