Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was first announced early this year at GDC. With the original game being more than 10 years old, it was high time that the immersive world of Bloodlines was given some new blood (pun intended). Bloodlines 2’s first trailer looked amazing when it was shown off back then, but during E3’s PC Gaming Show this year, we got our first look at what the gameplay will be like with this sweet gameplay reveal:
This trailer shows off some of the sinister stuff we’ll be doing in Bloodlines 2. There are some cool looking vampiric powers through the trailer that we can’t wait to try out. It also shows us the game’s new setting, Seattle, and the people we’ll find within. Returning from the original game are branching dialogue trees which you must navigate using the social skills of your choice, and if you can’t convince ’em? Just sick em’ with your sweet vampire powers!
Not much about the story or characters has been revealed, but we do know that your player character is a fledgling vampire who inadvertently kickstarts a turf war over Seattle’s blood supply. There is bound to be a lot of intrigue and negotiating as well as good old mindless slaughter. Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will be expected to release April next year for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
