Terraria: Journey’s End is the next big expansion for the ever-so-popular 2D survival game. The expansion was shown off at the PC Gaming E3 2019 press conference and is set to make quite a few changes and additions to the Terraria formula.
According to developer Re-Logic, Journey’s End will bring about 800 news items to find or craft, new foes, new biomes and world generation, an in-game bestiary, a new difficulty setting, enhanced weather effects and even golf. Check out the trailer below.
It’s exciting to see Terraria still get the love it deserves 8 years after it released. It’s an amazing game with a passionate fan base and a very dedicated developer who won’t stop until the game has ALL of the content.
The best part about the Journey’s End update is it will be completely free. The expansion will arrive sometime in 2019 although it’s unlikely that it will reach every platform at the same time, so keep an eye out for more specifics when they arrive.
