The hugely popular Trials of Mana is getting a Remake

Posted on June 12, 2019

Trials of Mana, the third entry in Squeenix’s Mana series,  is getting a remake. Originally known as Seiken Densetsu 3, the game was originally released in 1995. And for a remake of a 24 year old game, this isn’t looking too shabby.

Featuring updated 3D visuals, voice acting, and a fully fleshed out environment to explore. Considering that the original never saw a release outside of Japan, this is big news for JRPG fans.

Just like in the original, Trials of Mana will be split between characters, each featuring their own sub-plots. The original is considered a classic by those who’ve played it, so it’s great that western audiences will get a chance to try it out.

The Orginal three games are also available for the switch right now, all fully translated into English. Perfect for those who can’t wait until the vague 2020 release date for the HD remake.
