If you thought you were safe, you’re dead wrong. Return to the dark, grim world of Zombie Army and find yourself once more taking on Hitler’s undead horde. Zombie Army 4: Dead War was announced at E3 and is the next follow up to modest hit Zombie Army Trilogy.
Zombie Army Trilogy was spawned as a spin-off to the Sniper-Elite series and provided an interesting but fun take on the zombie shooter genre. The game saw players battling Hitler’s last desperate ploy in the form of an army of undead soldiers. It was a stealth third person tactical shooter that could be played in single player or co-op and this new entry looks to be much in the same vein.
The issued press release discusses the following: “1946. A year ago Hitler, defeated, initiated “Plan Z.” Now Europe lies in ruins. A brave band of heroes managed to cast the zombie army and the demon Führer back to hell. But little do they know… HITLER’S HORDES ARE BACK FOR MORE!” If this description and its reveal trailer is anything to go off, the game will be fun and intensive as ever, popping undead heads off on the fly.
Raise hell like never before with this new sequel that features drop-in, drop-out co-op for 1-4 players from start to finish. Levels will be huge and see you travelling across Italy and beyond. There’s plenty of progression systems and customisation to keep players coming back too. Players can unlock dozens of skills, special attacks, weapon upgrades along with cosmetic items and emotes.
This sequel will be the latest in the series in some time, with the trilogy releasing back in 2015. As for when players can play Zombie Army 4, the wait won’t we be too long, with the game rising up in early 2020. Get ready for some gooey blood spilling and co-op fun!
