This queer-friendly dating simulator sets itself apart with its dog training features. There are six dating options with accompanying furry friends. The game allows a selection of pronouns and romantic intention to certify the perfect match.

Showcasing the quirky-sim at PAX Australia 2019, Starcolt’s engagement and passion are astounding. Artist Brianna Fromont and game runner Calliope Ryder expressed their joy designing this puppy narrative from their experiences and love for similar games.

Fromont’s unique illustrations bring Best Friend Forever to life with loveable personas. The allure and magic within each character is striking and builds deep connections between the player, date, and canine.

Along the way to the romantic dream, expect many wacky hijinks and awkward moments. Puppies may create havoc during dates, making messes among other situations. The puppies will impact each date for better or worse depending on the time spent with them at Paws Academy. Train, pat, and play with dogs to form emotional bonds and woo the cute singles of Rainbow Bay.

Everyone in the game meets through the ‘Woofr’ dating app. The fictional application requires users to own a lively pup, swaying the choice of who to meet and potentially embrace. If finding new love isn’t sparking interest, the sandbox mode will.

The alternate game mode allows players to purely play with the adopted dog. Revel within the training and pet excitement and relive those old Nintendogs days. Bond with a puppy and wind down with stress-free, enchanting fun.
