Up Multimedia want your help to make their next gay game

Up Multimedia, an Aussie-based, independent development studio are looking for your help to design their next gay video game.

Up Multimedia is a studio who you may know from much-loved, queer focused games such as My Ex-Boyfriend the Space Tyrant and Escape from Pleasure Planet. They are also currently completing development on a game called The Beat which they describe as a “gay-themed investigative thriller”.

Whilst the team is still finalising their current project, they want your help to shape and direct what will become their next project. And yes, it will be just as gay as you’d expect.

The team have made a survey which can be filled out anonymously. The survey asks a variety of questions such as “What do you think makes a gay game?” and “What does Pride mean to you?”. It also explores player preferences in video games and gets retrospective on Up Multimedia’s past titles, asking people to critique them.
