Earlier in the week we received a very short tease of Ghost of Tsushima in the PlayStation State of Play. It was a very short look that left us begging for more. After all, it’s a game we’ve been reeling for for a while now.Thankfully, The Game Awards just delivered more than we could’ve asked for.
The trailer focused more on our hero, The Ghost and showed us just some of the many environments we’ll be exploring. Lush fields of red flowers and villages burnt to ruins are only some of the scenes we’ll see in Ghost of Tsushima.
The combat looks brilliant too, whether it be a full fledged assault or dropping on unaware enemies and severing arteries. The game really oozes with style and we can’t wait to see more and play it.
Ghost of Tsushima is expected to release in “Summer 2020” (that’s July-ish for us Aussies). We’ll likely see a final release date within the new year and real potential for it to come out on PS5 as well. Be very excited for this one.
