If you’re looking for another fun game to add your PlayStation VR library, look no further than this doozy. Surprise hit 2019 VR game Pistol Whip is coming to PSVR! A blog post from developer Cloudhead Games, on the PlayStation website, announced the exciting news. Also released is a fun teaser trailer for the port to the PlayStation device, which we’ve included for you below.
If watching the trailer gave you big Beat Saber and Super Hot vibes, then you’d be right. Both games have been cited as big influences for the rhythm shooter. “You know how in action movie trailers they sync all the gunfire and fisticuff sounds to match up with the music — that’s what it feels like to play Pistol Whip,” Antony Stevens says of the game in the blog post.
PSVR owners are no doubt very passionate about their peripheral device and are looking for more games for its library. We have Beat Saber and Super Hot, now’s as good as time as any to give us Pistol Whip.
Pistol Whip already has very positive reviews on Steam, and PS VR owners will get to see just what they think when the game releases this Winter. Will you be joining the fight and doing some shooting, dodging and dancing to some sweet tunes?
