It’s a given we’re all mostly stuck indoors these days. With travelling outside of the house only currently allowed for essential reasons, you can’t help but daydream of all the places you could go. Xbox knows this. With their new The Rough Guide of Xbox digital tourism book, they’re offering guidance through new worlds all from the comfort of your own couch.

Already, gamers are travelling and discovering the nooks and crannies of many, many worlds. Still, much like travelling in the real world, a companion book of sorts may be of welcome assistance. To fill this need, and encourage people to stay indoors, Xbox has teamed up with tourism company Rough Guides to make what has to be the very first video game tourism book.

Say you’re exploring Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s ancient wonders, or the greenery and laneways of Forza Horizon 4. You’re basking in the sights and scenery, in awe. Though, you want to know a little bit more about the area you’re in, or even note places worth visiting next. If this is the case, you can simply pull up this book, seeing all these detailing, complete with in-game screenshots. Sea of Thieves, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Anthem, Halo 5: Guardians, Metro Exodus are the other in-game worlds are on offer in the book.
