Xbox Game Pass to add EA Play, as if it needed more amazing value

Posted on September 10, 2020

Xbox Game Pass has continued to prove time and time again that it is the best value subscription service for any video game fan. Now, it’s set to get even beefier, as EA Play will be joining the service later this year.

Along with the exciting news of the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S launch date and price, EA Play joining Xbox Game Pass Holiday 2020 makes the prospect of picking up one of these launch consoles even more tantalising.

At no additional cost to Xbox Game Pass subscribers, you’ll be able to play a range of games from EA’s back catalogue on consoles and PC, over 60 games including Battlefield V, the 2020 iterations of the FIFA, Madden, and NBA Live games, Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, Titanfall 2, Dragon Age Inquisition, Anthem and plenty of others. EA Play as a service often also provides early access to their newest releases, and let’s you “try-before-you-buy” for a set period of time as well.

Basically, this adds a bunch of great games to an already game-packed service, and Xbox Game Pass continues to go from strength-to-strength.
