Some few weeks after its delay, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, the latest MMO expansion, now has a new release date. Throuis comes through an announcement tweet by the official WoW account. Thankfully, the wait is not much longer at all. Shadowlands will be in players’ hands in its complete form on November 23. Blizzard knows and recognises the demand for the expansion, offering the following quote to comment on just how hard at work they’ve been:
“Since we first told you about our decision to delay, we’ve used the time to further polish the expansion and shore up the endgame, including overhauling the combat and rewards in the Maw, and reworking the Covenant systems to make your choice more immediately impactful and have clearer long-term goals. Now the team is in a great position to get things the rest of the way to the finish line before November 23 – and as always, we’re committed to working with you to improve the game for as long as you’re out there playing it.”

Also provided to fans is the date of the pre-expansion launch event. That’ll come to players on November 10, and will see players witnessing Azeroth overrun by a horde of undead. Then, things will really kick off come the full release date of the 23rd.
With November already stacked with games to check out, players too have another staple to add to their list. Are you keen on revisiting the monolith that is World of Warcraft for some more MMO fun?
