Capcom nourishes the internet’s fondness with more details on Lady Dimitrescu

If you’ve seen some detailed cosplays or passionate fanart depicting a particularly tall vampire lady and her goth daughters, chances are they’ve spawned out of love for Resident Evil 8’s mascots. In fact, Lady Dimitrescu and her daughters have become a bit of a phenomenon ever since Capcom revealed new information about RE8. The spooky yet strangely alluring characters have become a bit of an icon for internet with a certain… fondness for Lady Dimitrescu being quite apparent.

Now I’m not here to make judgements over anybody’s predilections. But it does seem like the formidable height and power of Lady Dimitrescu plays a big role in what can only be described as a passionate yearning heard all around the web. Thankfully Capcom have come back to us with more information so that our cosplays, fanarts and fantasies can be depicted with a bit more accuracy.

At 2.9m tall, our vampire mommy certainly is intimidating. Although I guess that’s a big part of the charm. Will we see more of her before the game’s launch? I certainly hope so!

Resident Evil 8 is set to release on May 7 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and PC.
