Want to have fun gaming AND have the added bonus of knowing you’ve done a good deed? Well Minit Fun Racer has you covered! The developers of the original Minit, the 2D pixel adventure, have created Minit Fun Racer and a whopping 100% of the proceeds are going to charity! Publishers Devolver Digitial will make individual donations to charities such as Doctors Without Borders, Special Effect and others!
The new edition to the Minit family sees players hop on their scooter and drive around bustling roads filled with traffic and obstacles. Along the way you can purchase items from the local shopkeeper such as a helmet that will let you bump into one car and other personal and vehicle upgrades. On your ride you will also collect coins, make some pretty spectacular jumps and complete fun goals. Minit Fun Racer comes from the creators of the original 2018 indie, Minit, Kitty Calis, Jan Willem Nijman, Jukio Kallio & Dominik Johann. Calis and Nijman are also responsible for the 2020 slice n’ dodge 2D indie Disc Room.
When Checkpoint reviewed Minit when it first released in 2018, Tom said about the game: “Minit is a unique and interesting adventure game whose gimmick really puts a new spin on the genre. Although a frustratingly minimalist art style and lack of clear direction and useful hints may turn away gamers used to a more forgiving and streamlined fare. There is a lot of charm to be had in the character designs, quirky writing and soundtrack.
Minit Fun Racer is now available on PC via Steam with all proceeds from the sale, forever, going to select charities.
