Kazuya from Tekken joins the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster

Posted on June 16, 2021

well, who could have guessed this one? Nintendo’s first announcement at this year’s E3-adjacent Nintendo Direct stream was of the next fighter to join the Super Smash Brothers Ultimate, Kazuya Mishima from the Tekken series of games. In a reveal trailer that comedically references his amazing ending cutscene from Tekken 1, Kazuya is shown dropping other Smash Bros. characters off of a cliff after presumably defeating them with some kick-ass moves.

Like DLC fighters before him, he’ll be bringing with him a new stage and battle music. While we will need to wait for more information about how he fights, his ultimate move seems to be turning into Devil Kazuya. More information about Kazuya will be released on June 28.
