The demo is available on Nintendo Switch and PS4, with the demo also playable on PS5 through backwards compatibility. The demo’s save data will transfer across to the full game, so there’s no worry about having to start over again. The demo lasts for about 2 to 2.5 hours depending on how much you speed through the dialogue, but it displays a good mix of the kinds of gameplay we’ll be able to expect from NEO: TWEWY.
NEO: The World Ends With You launches for Nintendo Switch and PS4 on 27th July 2021, exactly 14 years after the original game released on Nintendo DS. It stars Rino and his group of friends as they try to survive in the Reapers’ Game, set in the fashionable Shibuya district in Japan.
