Creators of The Stanley Parable and Gone Home are forming new studio Ivy Road

Annapurna Interactive, publisher of indie hits such as Outer Wilds and What Remains of Edith Finch, recently held their very first showcase. Among some announcements for the cool looking indies its studios are working on, there came one very surprising announcement regarding the formation of a new studio featuring two indie superstars. Davey Wreden (The Stanley Parable, The Beginners Guide) and Karla Zimonja (Gone Home, Tacoma) have formed Ivy Road, and have revealed that they are working on a super-secret project.

Wreden and Zimonja made the announcement over tea, against an appropriately green and leafy backdrop. They are also joined by Daniel Rosenfeld, who is better known as C418 – the composer and sound designer of Minecraft. They couldn’t spare any details on the game they were working on at the moment, but these two have more than proven that they can go the distance making amazing games. Time will only tell what they have in store for us.
