Gamescom Opening Night Live 2021 will kick off next week on August 25th at 7:30 PM CEST (that’s 3:30 AM on the 26th in AEST). More than 30 games are expected to be presented during the main show’s 2-hour runtime, including brand new announcements and updates to upcoming games. One of these brand new announcements might just be a new Saints Row game, as teased by a pointed tweet from Gamescom’s host, Geoff Keighley.
Keighley tweeted the teaser 5 days ahead of Gamescom Opening Night Live 2021, and Saints Row fans only need to glance at the tweet to know that it’s referencing the series. What has fans especially excited is the included clip, which features the iconic symbol of the Third Street Saints next to the word ‘rebooting’. Although no firm details can be confirmed from this, it certainly could be teasing the announcement of a reboot for the series. Their official website also features a similar photo in a large banner.
5 days until @gamescom #OpeningNightLive on Wednesday.

Although last year saw a re-release of Saints Row: The Third, we haven’t gotten brand new Saints Row content since the Saints Row IV expansion Gat Out of Hell. It stands to reason that fans have been chomping at the bit for something new. As for exactly what will be announced, well, we’ll just need to wait until Gamescom kicks off next week.
