We know that being stuck in lockdown is not ideal for any of us and we’re all sick of it. I don’t know about you, but I’m more and more looking to video games to feel a sense of escape. For those of us that have golf as a real-life hobby, PGA Tour 2K21 has a new addition that might just help cure those lockdown blues.
The game features the ability for players to design their own courses, and the team at 2K have been promoting some of these talented course creators, including b101design who made this fantastic course based on the South Yarra region in Victoria. Check it out!

The course certainly makes me want to get back out onto the course, jump in a golf cart with some mates and enjoy a case of beer while we have a hit, but I digress. It’s very cool to see what some of these talented creators come up with, recreating these real-life golf courses so that we can experience them for ourselves, from the comfort of our couch. Thinking about some of the golf courses I’ve been on in my life, it certainly would be cool to explore them virtually, so I see the appeal.
Unfortunately, I have zero of the skills or patience required to make anything as impressive as this. Just take a look!
In our review of PGA 2K21, we said “PGA Tour 2K21 sets a new standard for golf games. It has detailed gameplay that is welcoming for newcomers but incredibly complex for the veteran golfers. The presentation is also incredibly impressive, with strong audio and course-mapping that made me feel like I was an actual pro. HB Studios and 2K have come together to make one of the best golf video games available today; with some more refinement in future, this series could easily end up being a hole-in-one.”
PGA Tour 2K21 is available now for PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC.
