In one of the announcements on June 28th’s Nintendo Direct, NieR: Automata The End of YoRHa Edition is coming to the Nintendo Switch. This not only includes the base game of NieR: Automata, but will include additions such as new outfits, new story elements, new soundtracks in the form of jukebox songs, and new challenging boss fights to test your skills.
While NieR: Automata The End of YoRHa Edition is currently available on PS4 and Steam, it will be the first release of the game on the hybrid console. The Steam Deck isn’t optimised for NieR: Automata as of current writing, which makes the Switch release your best chance of playing NieR: Automata on the go.
The trailers showed NieR: Automata running smoothly on the Switch, which is great news for those who may have had reservations about the game’s performance outside of gaming PCs and the native PS4 console.
NieR: Auotmata The End of YoRHa Edition will be available on the Switch from October 6, 2022. Pre-orders from today.
