Sci-fi horror title Routine went dark back in 2017 when a final post was made to the Steam community forums apologising for missing a release deadline and promising new information soon. That soon never arrived, until today. The game that was constantly delayed and expected cancelled has resurfaced during Summer Games Fest with a brand new trailer that looks absolutely remarkable.
The “re-reveal” of Routine will be exciting for horror fans as we watch gloriously detailed environments, horrifyingly dark passageways with light flickering at unexpected times, and a robotic enemy straight out of your nightmares. Check out the trailer below.
The game is being made by developer Lunar Software and publisher Raw Fury. It’s currently in development for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The game will also be available on Game Pass. No specific release date was given, which does make me a little nervous, though we are being told it is “coming soon.” Watch this space for more details on Routine.
