Well well well – the sequel to fan favourite The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild finally has a new name and release date. The latest direct Nintendo revealed The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom would be the next in the series. It was about time we quit calling it Breath of the Wild 2 honestly.
It’s set for release on Nintendo Switch on May 12th, 2023. This comes after a previous delay. Check out the new trailer for the follow-up to the must-have game on Nintendo’s current-gen console.
Fans have applauded BOTW for being a welcoming entry in the series for new and returning fans. For many Switch owners, it was the first game they owned on the console.
Personally, I am most excited about how the original map will change in this one, and how the narrative of the game will soar to new heights!
