Originally slated to release this year, Telltale’s The Wolf Among Us 2 has now been delayed out of 2023. The news come from an issue press release and chat with IGN. We’ve attached an image of the announcement post below.
As you may be able to tell, the reasoning for delaying the anticipated sequel is to not only do what’s right for the game but also ‘protecting the health of our team.’ Unfortunate news for fans but good for the health of the industry – delaying a game to avoid crunch on developers is always a good thing.
The Wolf Among Us 2 was announced in 2019 as the highly anticipated follow-up to Telltale’s 2013 cult hit. At the very least another title under the studio’s banner looks to still be releasing later this year. The Expanse: A Telltale Series is slated for the middle of 2023.
