Celebrate the release of Dead Island 2 and Dine with the Dead over burgers

Dead Island 2 has been a long, long time coming and is just around the corner, scheduled to be released on April 21st. It’s undoubtedly a highly anticipated release. To celebrate, Sydney fans (and foodies) can duck into Newtown’s Big Daddy’s Burger Bar to ‘Dine With The Dead.’ What’s on the menu? Devilishly good burgs of course.

The Dine with the Dead offering is running now through until April 23rd. The menu is also inspired by the game’s slayers, Jacob, Amy, Dani, Bruno, Ryan and Carla, as well as the returning slayer Sam B. Blood-curdling options include the signature Burger ‘66 burger along with Amy’s California Chill, Carla’s Charred Chicken Burger, Bruno’s Chilli Dawg, Dani’s Rockabilly Grande, and Nachos Ryan’s Way. Two special sauces have been also been created to give that extra bite. These are the Sam B’s Louisiana Style Hot Sauce and Fury Mode Hot Sauce.

If you’re looking to finish it all off with dessert, look no further than Amy’s California Chill, made up of delicious vanilla bean ice cream, peanut butter, chocolate syrup, strawberry syrup, whipped cream and a cherry on top. It’s sure to be essential to come down from those hot sauces.

Big Daddy’s Burger Bar Area Manager, Eddie Sidhom has commented on the Dead Island 2 takeover, stating the following: “At Big Daddy’s we like to do things differently and in a way that only adds to our diners’ experience. We are big gaming fans, so to be able to activate Dead Island 2 in our stores is a real coup for our regulars.”
