Assassin’s Creed Mirage gets an October release date

Posted on May 25, 2023

Featured as part of May’s PlayStation Showcase, Ubisoft’s latest entry in their expansive globetrotting franchise Assassin’s Creed Mirage has unveiled a new gameplay trailer and a release date of October 12.

The next big game for the series since 2020’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, this upcoming title sees players take to the streets of Baghdad as thief Basim, looking for the source of his “nightmarish visions”. Check out the gameplay trailer below.

The trailer showcases some of the stunning architecture the Assassin’s Creed series is known for, with dense narrows streets covered in enticing ropes, ledges, and nooks to parkour through. It looks as though the more city-focused environments of earlier titles are making their return as well, a departure from Valhalla’s sprawling natural landscapes.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage claims that new protagonist Basim is the “most versatile Assassin in franchise history”, with the game featuring more gameplay options and abilities to help you take down your assassination targets than any previous title in the series.

We’re looking forward to finding out more details when Assassin’s Creed Mirage releases on October 12th.
