Announced during the PC Gaming Show, Altered Alma is a pixel-art Metroidvania Space Opera set in the neon infested streets of Neo-Barcelona. You play as Jack, a young hired gun who is trying to make their way through a Cyberpunk world of gangsters and bad dudes who you either fight or fight for.
Along with the quick, intense side-scroller combat, the game combines a number of different RPG elements, such as being able to customise your ship, captain and crew, build relationships and maybe even find love amongst the colourful characters you meet along your journey.
Choices matter in Altered Alma, with the game also throwing some hard moral choices your way as you fight amongst a re-imagined Cyberpunk inspired Neo-Barcelona, where you can visit such famous landmarks as Sagrada Familia and Park Guell.
Though Altered Alma does not have a release date just yet, you can wishlist it on Steam now.
