The team behind Minecraft Legends have announced they are working on a new deckbuilder titled Earthless. Announced during the 2023 PC Gaming Show, this sci-fi 3D rougelike takes place in a universe where the sun has exploded and earth has been destroyed.
Your ship’s aim is to find a new home amongst the galaxy which is represented via different map nodes. When you visit certain planets, you will come up against combat or narrative gameplay options with difficult choices that could lead to your crew being negatively impacted. These enemies, Earthless project director Hoi-Fung Ma discussed, come in the form of “biomechanical immune system” alien groups that are trying to keep their power now that earthlings are seeking a new home.

Combat is turn and grid-based, with Ma saying that Fire Emblem and Slay the Spire were some of the dev team’s inspirations.
Earthless is slated to release in early access sometime in early 2024.
