Manage a temporal clone army in Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior

One of the notable announcements during 2023’s Summer Games Fest was that of Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior. Developed by Sand Door Studio and published by Heavy Rain developer Quantic Dream, Lysfanga sees you fight your opponents by creating a team of allies via time travel, and working with your past selves to face your adversities.

In the game, you play as Imë, Lysfanga of the New Kingdom and protector of the realm. After the Ancient Cities are freed from their temporal prison, dangerous demons known as Raxes are unleashed. It is up to Imë and her army of herself to take them down. Blessed with powers by the Goddess of Time, Imë can rewind time by a few seconds to create temporal duplicates of herself, allowing the player to create small strike teams and craft strategies via clever application of her abilities. Imë can obtain new weapons and spells through exploration, which can be used to devastating effect when combined with her time travel powers.

Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior also challenges the player to master the game’s mechanics and improve their performance. The game’s arenas can be replayed to beat your high scores, with additional difficulty settings and other modifiers to increase the challenge and the rewards.

Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior does not yet have a confirmed release date, but can be Wishlisted on Steam. We will have to wait for more information once the game is closer to completion regarding when it will come out.
